About Little Picket Fence

We is actually just me, for now.  I am trying to recruit my sister to join me but have thus far been unsuccessful. I am still hopeful. 

I have been an old soul my entire life who yearns for simpler times that I remember when I was growing up. I like that I knew the world before Internet and cellphones. I like that now, everything I could ever want to know or buy is at my fingertips. But sometimes I just want to disconnect from that world and enjoy simpler times. 

I found this magazine article in House Beautiful titled "Psychologists Reveal What's Really Behind Your Obsession With "Grandma Things,"" (https://www.housebeautiful.com/design-inspiration/a65783711/why-grandma-aesthetics-are-trending/) to be interesting. When I am off work, I have become obsessed with "grandma things" and "grandma hobbies." I turn off my cellphone and limit my screen time. 

The picture of the little house is my she shed, where I hope to open up my own little road side store. I want to sell some of the beautiful things I have collected, my artwork, my surplus flowers, organic fruit and vegetables from my gardens and the extra eggs from my free-range chickens (the girls).
